How do you come up with the price?

Aaron measures the rooms or the siding, notes the prep — patching, scraping, caulking, priming — and prices the labor and materials as one written number. It isn't hourly, so a slow day is our problem, not yours. The quote you approve is the invoice you get.

Is the walkthrough really free?

Yes, for any job in our service area. We'd rather see the surfaces than guess from a phone call — an accurate quote saves everyone a bad surprise later. There's no fee, no pressure, and no obligation to book.

How much deposit do you need?

For most residential jobs we ask for a modest deposit to cover paint and materials and hold the date, with the balance due after your final walkthrough. The exact terms are on the written quote so there's nothing to remember.

Question 4

Who qualifies for the veteran and military discount?

Accepted Answer

Active-duty, retirees, reservists, and veterans — and the spouse if the house is in their name. Just mention it when you call. With Malmstrom next door it's a discount we apply a lot.

Question 5

What do I need to do before you arrive?

Accepted Answer

Take down pictures and anything fragile, clear the tops of dressers and counters, and move small furniture out if you can. We handle the big pieces — shifting them to the center and covering them — along with the floors, outlets, and fixtures.

Can I stay in the house while you paint?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We work room by room so you always have usable space, and the low-VOC paints we use don't run you out of the house. For kitchens and bathrooms we'll tell you when the room is back in service — usually the same evening.

What happens if the weather turns during an exterior?

We stop. Paint applied ahead of rain or below its temperature limit fails early, so we'd rather lose a day than redo a wall. You'll get a call if the forecast shifts the schedule, and the written price doesn't change because of weather delays.

Do you work weekends or evenings?

Our hours are 8 AM to 8 PM, seven days a week, and commercial jobs often run evenings or weekends by design. For homes we try to keep to daytime hours unless you ask otherwise — just tell us what works.

Which paint brand do you use?

Contractor-grade Sherwin-Williams lines for most work — it's what one of our reviews mentions, and it's what holds up here. If you have a color from another brand we'll match it in a product we trust, and we'll explain where a cheaper line is fine and where it isn't.

What sheen should I pick for walls?

Eggshell or satin for most rooms — it wipes clean and hides small flaws. Flat for ceilings and low-traffic bedrooms; semi-gloss for trim, doors, and cabinets. Great Falls' dry air and bright sun make higher sheens show roller marks, so we steer most walls to eggshell.

Do you use low-VOC paint?

Yes — low- and zero-VOC interior paint is our default, which is why families, offices, and rentals can be back in the space the same day. It also means winter interiors work fine with the windows shut.

Can you use paint I've already bought?

We can, as long as it's a quality product suited to the surface. We'll look at it first and tell you honestly if it's the wrong sheen or grade for the job. The labor price stays the same; you just save the material cost.

Yes. We hold Montana construction contractor registration #271712 and carry liability insurance. Landlords, property managers, and agents can request the certificate with the quote and we'll send it the same day.

Do you do anything besides painting?

The things that go with it: drywall repair, mudding and taping, wall texturing, popcorn ceiling removal, wallpaper installation and removal, and deck and fence staining. Most rooms need one of those before paint, and it's simpler when one crew does it all.
